Day 1 - Getting to Rotterdam
Well the morning has arrived and what a beautiful morning it is. Bikes are shiny, shiny, luggage loaded up, customary photo by Louis as we ride off for nearly 3 weeks.It's always the most amazing feeling with 4,000 miles of riding ahead of us, but this time going to places never visited before so that is adding to the excitement.

A little jaunt over to Hull via the M56, M6, M62...Bags packed lightly again, so we're not overweight!!! I think not. Another 1/2 tonne going to Norway.
A very quick trip over, no dramas' not much traffic - lots of wind over the moors, but that's it really. Arrived at 4:00 so ready to go and have 1st beer. Sailed through checkin - quick opening of the panniers, but straight onboard.
Familiar pictures as we're creatures of habit!!! Wandering around the ship looking at the murky brown waters of the Hull estuary. 
An excellent nights' entertainment. Good band, lots of singing some very spicy cocktails - what could possibly go wrong...
Managed to stay up late - wow!! Hoping for some nice waves in the night so the boat is a bit rocky!!!!
