Day 3 Getting to København

Had a fantastic ride out of Bremen to Copenhagen. Whilst it was all dual carriageway or motorway, due to the 578klms we had to cover, it was lovely to ride. It was noticeably very flat and mainly forests but they were roads we hadn't ridden before so it made it very interesting.

One highlight was riding this bridge, which was enormous and extremely exposed. At one stage we were definitely riding at a bizarre angle just to fight the wind. Not sure how long it was and could probably look it up, but it seemed to go on for ages and ages!!

1st stop in Denmark to try their food - a service station lunch. It's strange how just a few miles down the road how things are so different. The layout, the cooking the service - everything was different.
.
Eventually we got into Copenhagen and after going to the wrong hotel we got to the most expensive hotel we've ever stayed in - not that we haven't paid the same or more money for rooms, but the cost of the room does not correlate with the quality - Copenhagen is proving to be the most expensive city ever!! The beers are ridiculously priced, the food, which was gorgeous,  but was just astronomical. It's a total Micky-take! This is most certainly our last visit to Copenhagen!
We didn't go and see the city which is a good thing as that would have been the end of our funds! Anyway off to Norway tomorrow so that's gong ot be exciting...

This is the picture of the hotel, but let me tell you it is deffo not as posh as it looks. It was fun riding the motorbikes down the pavement to find a small door that opened into a courtyard where we could store the bikes overnight.
