Well here we go again - it's the 11th January and planning has started. Dates chosen, itinerary well on its way - deffo going to the beautiful country of Norway for the 1st time ever! 

The country is far too big to cover in one trip, so we're concentrating on the south west coast  before heading over to Sweden, Denmark and Germany. We do go through those countries to get to Norway, but they'll be fleeting visits initially. 

Researching where we should go will take some time as there is so much to see - think I'll enlist my mate AJ and his family for some advice before we go. Anyway in the meantime planning is fun 🤪

We've planned most of the route now (4th March 2026) and we are going ot ride at least 3 of the top 5 roads in Norway;

 - Lysevegan Road - Lysebotn

 - Trollstigen Road - Åndalsnes

 - The Atlantic Coast Road - Møre og Romsdal County

So it's the 25th May and we're so close to going. It's a Bank Holiday Monday and have to be honest we have all abused this weekend!!! PC whipped up a Jalfrezi on Sunday

 preceded by a BBQ Welsh Dragon Burger, with bacon, Welsh Cheddar Cheese and Gherkins on Saturday, and now Mrs C doing a Thai Pork & Ginger curry!

It's 33 degrees here but cooling down for Wednesday thank goodness, Passports are out,V5 ready to go, all insurances sorted, some clothes packed already!!

It's been a messy weekend; but the Bagger has been shined up by Paul (PC's next door neighbour) T a bit jealous as he hasn't been able to sparkle his wheels as much  - anyway both bikes all looking great. Tyre pressure right, tanks full and straps for Mrs C's l00 ltr roll bag luggage attached and  ready to go on........

Pre tour tea at Fouzi’s. Always a treat. Ready to go in the morning and non of us can wait!!! It’s going to be a long hot night ahead .
