Day 8 Day off
Bergen is a very nice place to stop over for a day. Lots of people milling around, cruise ships in, luxury yachts, steam ships, ice-breaker boats and a battle ship...
A good walk around, look through the markets and buying a bottle of wine from the only wine shop in Bergen - you can't buy wine from supermarkets or small shops, just this one wine shop!! Very strange place - Norway!
Lovely lunch 
and a couple of beers before heading back to the Airbnb to watch some films and shelter from the torrential rain that is due.
We peaked too early on the food and should have had a beer and then look for somewhere else. We ate in the over-priced café on the waterfront, whereas 200 yards down the road was the fish market!!! We should have gone there for variety of fish and it's where all the locals were - the tourists were in the café we were at and that's unusual for us but I think too much on P's mind following a call with the team.
Fairly big work day for PC unfortunately, but not to worry had to be done!! Tomorrow off to Stranda and a 3 night stop over.
