Day 10 Day off Ride to Storseisundbrua Bridge

A day out to ride the Atlantic Coast road and the Scalextric track as we call it, including the magnificent Storseisundbrua bridge!! It didn't take very long to cross - probably about 10 minutes in all. Most people ride it back and too, but we rode it just once and that was fine. Incredible views even in the rain.

Nothing like seeing a cruise ship go passed your window in the morning.......

So a lot of ferries today, tunnels again and fantastic roads to ride - what another spectacular days' riding. Weather was wet in the morning and up to the James Bond road, but certainly didn't dampen spirits and it was only light drizzle again so riding conditions were still very good.

The waterfalls are spectacular off every mountain and the roads cut through the valleys with steep sides rising up to enormous heights. It truly is spectacular.
It was a very good long days' ride, so now for some over-priced food at the only place in town. Must say through the quality was up there with the best of them so didn't mind the £110 for a steak, a piece of salmon and 2 beers!
Oh and another cruise ship in the evening returning from wherever it stopped - Off to ride the Trollstigen tomorrow and the weather looks very good so hopefully we'll have some sun to ride this famous road.
Nothing like a little Jäger Bomb to start the night off. Well deserved after the days' riding we had. Guess which film we watched tonight - oh yes, James Bond; No time to die!!
